1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how BHVD Labs collects, uses, discloses, retains, and protects personal information when you use the Services.

Personal information means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you or your device.

2. What We Collect

We collect information you provide, information collected automatically, and information from service providers that support our operations.

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account and contact information, such as name and email address
  • Order and fulfillment information, such as shipping address, order details, and support history
  • User-submitted app inputs, such as check-ins, ratings, and optional notes
  • Communications, such as messages you send to us

If you use optional free-text fields, do not include sensitive information you do not want stored.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and app information, including device type, operating system, app version, language, time zone, and network information
  • Online identifiers, such as IP address, cookie identifiers, and analytics identifiers
  • Usage and interaction data, including pages or screens viewed, feature usage, button taps, timestamps, and referrers
  • Approximate location derived from IP address (for example, country and region)
  • Diagnostics, such as crash reports and performance logs

2.3 Payment Information

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers.

We may receive payment confirmation and limited transaction metadata necessary for accounting, fraud prevention, and customer support.

3. Why We Collect Information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide and operate the Services, including account creation, authentication, and order fulfillment
  • Process transactions, manage fraud risk, and handle returns, chargebacks, and disputes
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests
  • Maintain security, integrity, and abuse prevention
  • Measure performance, analyze usage, debug issues, and improve features
  • Send transactional communications and, where permitted, marketing communications
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements

4. Web and App-Specific Collection

The Services include both a website and a mobile application. Data collection varies by surface.

4.1 Website-Specific Collection and Tools

When you use the website, we collect data commonly used for ecommerce operations, performance monitoring, security, and measurement. This includes cookies and similar technologies, page views, interaction events, referrers, and conversion events.

  • Website commerce functionality may be provided through Shopify and Shop Pay
  • Payments may be processed by Stripe or other payment providers used by Shopify checkout
  • Measurement and tag management may include Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Meta Pixel
  • Email signup and lifecycle communications may be sent using Klaviyo

4.2 App-Specific Collection and Tools

When you use the Neuropause app, we collect information necessary to provide app functionality, improve reliability, and understand feature usage.

This may include app events, device and app metadata, diagnostics, and your in-app inputs such as check-ins, ratings, and optional notes.

  • Authentication and application data storage may be provided through Supabase
  • Product analytics may be provided through PostHog
  • Error monitoring and performance diagnostics may be provided through Sentry

5. How We Disclose Information

We disclose personal information only as described below.

5.1 Service Providers

We share personal information with service providers that process it on our behalf to operate the Services, including ecommerce platforms, payment processors, hosting and infrastructure providers, analytics providers, customer support tools, and email delivery services.

Service providers are contractually restricted from using personal information for their own purposes.

5.2 Legal, Safety, and Rights

We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud, or enforce our agreements.

5.3 Business Transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be disclosed or transferred as part of that transaction, subject to reasonable confidentiality and security controls.

6. Cookies, SDKs, and Tracking Technologies

Our website and app use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies for functionality, security, analytics, and measurement.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where required by law, we provide a consent mechanism for non-essential technologies.

Blocking certain technologies may affect functionality.

7. Analytics, Attribution, and Session Measurement

Analytics tools typically collect event data such as page or screen views, interactions, timestamps, device and browser metadata, and identifiers.

If you sign in, we may associate analytics events with your account identifier to improve reliability and understand feature usage. If you do not sign in, analytics may still be processed using an anonymous identifier.

If session replay or interaction recording is enabled, we will disclose this in product settings and apply masking or exclusion for sensitive inputs by default.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, after which it is deleted or de-identified where practicable.

Typical retention periods include:

  • Order and transaction records: up to 7 years for tax, accounting, and legal obligations
  • Account data: for as long as your account remains active; limited records may be retained for up to 24 months after deletion for compliance and dispute resolution
  • Support communications: up to 24 months after the last interaction
  • Analytics event data: typically up to 13 months, subject to system configuration
  • Security and diagnostic logs: typically 30 to 90 days, subject to operational needs

Retention may be longer where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

9. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

You are responsible for protecting your credentials and securing your devices.

10. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing.

You can submit requests by emailing admin@theicesack.com. We will verify your identity before responding and may deny requests where permitted by law.

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe mechanism. Transactional and administrative messages may still be sent.

11. California Disclosures and Opt-Out

If you are a California resident, you may have rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of certain disclosures that may be treated as sharing under California law.

We do not sell personal information for money. We may share personal information with advertising and measurement partners for marketing performance and conversion measurement.

Where required, we provide opt-out mechanisms and honor recognized preference signals.

12. International Users

BHVD Labs is based in the United States. If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where service providers operate.

Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for cross-border transfers.

13. Children

The Services are intended only for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact admin@theicesack.com and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

14. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date will be updated accordingly. If changes are material, we will provide additional notice where required by law.
