The Ice Sack is a general wellness product designed for short-duration dry cold exposure. Cold exposure and enclosed use carry risks if misused. Following these instructions reduces the risk of injury.
Intended Users
The Ice Sack is intended for adults eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Do not allow children to use or enter the product.
Keep out of reach of children and pets when in use or stored.
This is a full-body containment product. Improper use can be dangerous.
Do Not Use If Any of the Following Apply
Do not use The Ice Sack without medical clearance if you have heart disease, heart rhythm disorders, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or a history of fainting or collapse.
Do not use if you have cold sensitivity or cold intolerance conditions, including Raynaud phenomenon or cold urticaria.
Do not use if you have impaired sensation, impaired circulation, nerve damage, or conditions that reduce your ability to feel cold or pain.
Do not use if you have open wounds, broken skin, or skin infections in areas that will contact the cold surface.
Do not use if you are intoxicated or under the influence of substances that impair judgment or awareness.
Do not use if you cannot independently unzip and exit the product quickly and safely.
Consult a qualified healthcare professional before use if you are pregnant, have a neurologic condition, take medications affecting heart rate, blood pressure, or temperature regulation, or have safety concerns.
Enclosed Use and Breathing Safety
The Ice Sack is an enclosed product.
- Always keep your face and airway clear
- Never cover your mouth or nose
- Never restrict breathing
- Never use face-down or in any position that could obstruct airflow
- Never use while asleep or if you may lose consciousness
If you feel panic, breathing difficulty, or air hunger, unzip and exit immediately.
Supervision and Environment
For initial sessions, do not use alone. Use supervision until you understand your response to cold exposure.
Use only in a safe, dry indoor environment with a clear exit path.
Do not use in or near water.
Do not use while driving or operating machinery.
Ensure adequate room ventilation.
Time and Exposure Limits
Follow the guided protocol and do not exceed recommended duration.
Longer exposure does not increase benefit and may increase risk.
Never attempt to push through discomfort.
Stop Immediately and Exit If Any Occur
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- Confusion or disorientation
- Panic or unmanageable anxiety
- Loss of breathing control
- Chest pain or shortness of breath
- Irregular heartbeat
- Blue or pale skin
- Severe or painful numbness
Seek emergency medical assistance if severe symptoms occur.
Before Each Session
Confirm you can unzip and exit quickly.
Keep hands positioned for zipper access at all times.
Remove metal jewelry or objects that may concentrate cold.
Do not use if sick, dehydrated, extremely fatigued, or sleep deprived.
During Use
Enter only when fully alert.
Zip slowly and do not force the zipper.
Remain mentally present throughout the session.
After the Session
Exit slowly and stand carefully.
Warm gradually. Avoid sudden extreme heat if lightheaded.
Avoid risky activity if numb or uncoordinated.
Skin and Cold Injury Awareness
Discontinue use if you experience persistent burning, sharp pain, or numbness that does not resolve shortly after exiting.
Cold injury can occur with excessive exposure or pressure.
Product Condition and Care
Do not modify, puncture, cut, heat, or electrically alter the product.
Inspect seams and zipper before each use.
Follow cleaning and storage instructions.
Emergency Guidance
If you cannot exit the product, call for help immediately.
If severe symptoms occur, call 911 or your local emergency number.
